Two Beers Brewing Announces Release of Three Spring Seasonals and Expanded Outdoor Seating
While it may still be a little chilly outside, spring has sprung at Two Beers Brewing Co. with the release of three popular spring seasonals – Crooked Belgian Wit, Panorama Wheat and Trailhead ISA. All perfect for enjoying during the warmer days of spring and summer, these brews are accompanied by expanded outdoor seating at the Two Beers Brewing tasting room – recently dubbed “The Woods” – as well as unique infusions and cans that offer the convenience and portability needed for spring hiking, camping and more.
“There’s something about spring that makes us crave something cool, crisp and refreshing – and our spring seasonals offer just that,” said Joel VandenBrink, Two Beers Brewing founder and head brewer. “The flavors and aromas offered in these beers – whether it be the spicy aroma of the Crooked Belgian Wit, the subtle hoppiness of the Trailhead ISA, or the natural citrus flavor of the Panorama Wheat – all point to the fact that warmer weather and the perfect Pacific Northwest summer is just around the corner.”
Two Beers Brewing’s spring seasonals include:
Crooked Belgian Wit – 17 IBUs; 5.2% ABV
A seasonal favorite since it was first brewed in 2007, this lively and refreshing ale is brewed with fresh ground coriander and dried orange peel. Characterized by its distinctive cloudy appearance and authentic Belgian yeast strain, the Crooked Belgian Wit is available in draft at the Two Beers Brewing tasting room – where it can at times be found infused with grapefruit, orange and lemon– as well as select bars and restaurants throughout Washington state.
Panorama Wheat – 12 IBUs; 4.6% ABV
The Panorama Wheat is a bright, crisp crystal wheat beer with a natural citrus flavor. Best served with a slice of lemon, this American Crystal Wheat was first brewed in April 2011. Panorama Wheat is available on draft March – August and 12-ounce aluminum cans year-round. This beer can often be found infused with ginger and lime at the Two Beers Brewing tasting room and select beer festivals.
Trailhead ISA – 48 IBUs; 4.8% ABV
First introduced in the summer of 2011, this Northwest India-style Session Ale (ISA) is aggressively dry‐hopped with Palisade and Cascade hops, and brewed with light crystal and honey malts. Offering floral and earthy flavors, Trailhead ISA is a hoppy, crisp beer perfect for sharing and enjoying with friends. Find it on draft June – August and in 12-ounce aluminum cans year-round.
Spring at Two Beers Brewing also means the return of its popular fruit-filled infusions. A Crooked Belgian Wit infused with ruby red grapefruit and Meyer lemons, and a 20:20 Blonde infused with dried orange pieces and vanilla bean will be available at the The Woods tasting room to mug club members only beginning April 4 before being released to the public on April 18.
Two Beers Brewing will continue to distribute its five year-round offerings, as well as a host of packaged products. In addition to Panorama Wheat and Trailhead ISA, craft beer enthusiasts can pick up Evolutionary IPA in 12-ounce cans, and Persnickety Pale Ale, Evo. IPA and Heart of Darkness CDA in 22-ounce bottles.
Two Beers Brewing offers pints, growlers and kegs-to-go in its 4,800-square-foot SoDo brewery and tasting room – The Woods – in addition to being available on tap in more than 300 restaurants and bars in Washington, Idaho and Vancouver, B.C. Two Beers Brewing’s 12-ounce aluminum cans can also now be found in Oregon and Alaska.
