Cider Mimosas, Bloody Mary Flights and Gluten-Free Doughnuts: New Brunch Menu at Capitol Cider Set to Surprise

Capitol Cider, Seattle’s first and largest cider bar and restaurant, is thrilled to announce the debut of a brand new brunch, available every Saturday and Sunday from 10am-3pm. Featuring a completely gluten free food and drink menu designed to surprise, brunch lovers – gluten free or not – are in for a treat.

“Gluten free doesn’t mean what it used to,” said Capitol Cider owner Julie Tall. “It used to mean flavorless and limited options. Now it means your breakfast favorites with a delicious and unexpected twist. Think delicious doughnuts, savory eggs benedict, bottomless cider mimosas and more. We promise, you won’t miss the gluten and won’t want to miss this brunch.”

From sweet to savory and everything in between, there’s something for all palates on the new menu. For those who lean toward the breakfast side of brunch, Chilaquiles with Poached Eggs add a little flare while the Banana Bread French Toast satisfies the sweet side. If you’re more into lunch, Capitol Cider’s new Gluten-Free BurgerFish & Chips, or Grilled Pork and Avocado Plate with Fried Eggs are the perfect choice. Plus, there’s the option to add a side of gluten-free doughnuts or savory banana bread to any dish.

Looking for something to sip on? Mimosas made with cider – available by the single or bottomless glass – cider flights, Bloody Mary flights (featuring tequila, mezcal and gin), eye-opening cocktails and more are there to start or finish the weekend off right. Don’t worry, Stumptown coffee, Remedy tea and hand squeezed orange juice are options, too!

A sampling of Capitol Cider’s delicious and unexpectedly gluten-free brunch menu items includes:

  • Chilaquiles with Poached Eggs smoked chicken, white cheddar, corn chips
  • Homemade Banana Bread French Toast seasonal conserve, maple butter
  • Shortrib Hash with Poached Eggs sweet potato, padron peppers, sherry gastrique
  • Doughnuts housemade blueberry compote
  • Bacon Potato Croquettes sour cream, scallions
  • And much more!

Not up in time for brunch? Capitol Cider also features live jazz and a full dinner menu every Sunday night beginning at 5:30pm.
