Early Fall Releases for Two Beers Brewing: Fresh Hop, Pumpkin Spice & High Divide Double Blonde!

My favorite time of the year (when it comes to beer) is almost here! Fresh Hop is early thanks to the lovely weather we’ve been having and if you’ve never had a fresh hop beer, you’re missing out. And while it might seem a tad early for Pumpkin Spice, I can guarantee you won’t care once you take a sip. So good. Fall means beers full of flavor – so make sure to join us August 9!

SEATTLE (July 24, 2014) – Thanks to a rainy spring and record breaking temps in Eastern Washington, Two Beers Brewing’s 2014 Fresh Hop Ale is scheduled to be released on tap and in bottles at The Woods tasting room on Saturday, August 9. First brewed in 2009, Fresh Hop enters its sixth season on the brewery’s fall lineup with its earliest release date yet. A hyper seasonal, the expanding brewery’s Fresh Hop Ale is know for its intense hop flavor and unique brewing process, which involves a same-day round trip to Yakima, four hours of picking fresh hops off the vine and a 24-hour brewing process. Guaranteeing this is one party you won’t want to miss, August 9 also marks the release of Two Beers Brewing’s popular Pumpkin Spice Ale and the third beer in its limited edition Alta Series, the High Divide Double Blonde.  Read more

For the Two Beers Brewing crew (who have a bit of an inside scoop on hop harvest thanks to some brewers with family ties to hop farms) that means driving the two hours to Yakima Valley the second they receive the call that hops are ready and driving back the very same day to the brewery where volunteers are anxiously waiting to help handpick the hops of the vines. No doubt, a labor of love. I’m obviously a bit biased, but in my opinion, Two Beers Brewing makes one of the best fresh hop beers out there and this year, it’s being released earlier than ever.
